Years Gone By

Wow, I haven't read this in a long time...

The last year was crazy. Try and failed at meds, but she's stable now, thank God. MaKayla has over come so much and has started high school this year. She is brave, smart, funny and beautiful and is growing into a wonderful young woman that I'm proud of.

We don't talk too much about the abuse, it rarely comes up and that is what healing is. It has NOT defined her which is something that has been very important to me. She does volunteer work at a horse ranch for kids who have been through trauma and is loving giving back as well as the therapeutic benefits from being around the horses. She rides three or four times a week and I can see a peace come over her when she is with the horses, anyone who has a child with any issues should find a therapeutic riding facility ASAP~ the benefits are amazing.

The pervert and his family are residing in Spanaway, found out that he managed to procreate twice after being outed for what he really is. It's horrifying to me that there are two more children in the world that have to claim him as a father, thank God they are boys and not little girls.

The people who claimed to care for my daughter were liars, Jane and John Doe that I spoke of earlier in this blog. Sickening is that they allow these people around their little girls, but I guess ignorance is to blame... Just hope their children aren't going to pay for that ignorance.

I am very blessed in my life, and I don't take one single day for granted. As much as I still blame myself for what happened to my daughter, I also know that I am the reason she is doing so amazingly well. I hope that if someone reads this who is going through what we have been through might read this and know that there IS a light at the end of the tunnel and that someday you will be able to breathe again... I promise.
