Obsession?

So I get a phone call last week from one of my best friends... she tells me that Lucifer's myspace page is stating they are moving to Spanaway. I have repeatedly told her that I don't want to know anything unless I need to, and of course she tells me shit anyway.

Of course I go into panic mode. Moving here could mean his kids going to the same school as my daughter, seeing Lucifer and even Doug. But the real question I have is 'WHY?'

Why does he really want to move closer to us? Sure, his mom lives fairly close, but so what? He has friend's here, but so what? Unless that draw is about their three little girls, which wouldn't surprise me. Is it a power thing? An issue where he virtually got away with molesting my daughter so let's see how close he can get now?

I went to the school, bringing the pathetic paperwork I have with me, along with Doug's picture. The principal was wonderful, understanding and totally on top of it. He notified the assigned police officer of the situation and posted Doug's picture on the 'Watch for this person' board in the teacher's lounge. Right now that's all that can be done.

There is more I can do, and I have all I need to do it including letters from doctors, sexual abuse counselors and child psychiatrists, stating what effect seeing Doug could have on my daughter. I just don't want to put her through it unless I have to. So we will wait and see.

Our Justice system is terribly flawed, but I will use every resource available to legally protect my child.
